Beat Up 1999 Otis Highdraulic Elevators @ West Chester Bicentennial Garage

These things are worn out. The left elevator has been working intermittently and the right elevator not too long ago was broken for over a year. It’s now a toss-up whether the left elevator works, and when it does it doesn’t sound/feel the best. The right elevator feels slightly better but I doubt it has long left either. It’s no fault of Otis, 6 story hydros should never have been installed in the first place and with how heavily they are used and how poor maintenance seems I’m shocked that these still work at all. I’ve haven’t seen anything about a mod. These should be replaced fully with proper traction elevators but I doubt it.
