Wichita Aerial Christmas Light Tour | 2022 [4K]

You are watching the culmination of 12.3 hours of drone flying completed in 38 flights in just under one month. I started collecting footage on November 28 and finished on December 20; most of my flights were completed around midnight or later to avoid flying over people or cars and to be as inconspicuous as possible to not ruin the magic for people trying to enjoy the light shows. Certain shots in this video required FAA authorization and coordination with ATC at McConnel AFB. I would like to give special thanks to the Wichita Parks and Recreation Department, the civilian and enlisted staff of the 22nd Operational Support Squadron, and everyone who decorated their home or business this year to brighten up the community. If you are in the US, you must complete TRUST to fly recreationally and you must obtain a SUAS Remote Pilot License (aka part 107) to fly for commercial purposes, which includes most social media and YouTube uses.
