PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK (Back to Croatia we go)

A very different National Park experience this time around as we headed back to Croatia to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was a long early morning bus journey from Mostar back into Croatia to Split, where we then rented another car and drove up country to visit this snowed under beauty! At the start of the day we were slightly worried about the snowy conditions but it actually made this visit all the more beautiful and special. We even got a surprise boat trip across the lake with a nice warm drink in hand. Plitvice Lakes, you were a winter paradise! We started our journey by spending 3 months walking from the top to the bottom of Croatia and exploring a few of the boarding countries. Then at the start of January 2022 we hopped on a flight to South East Asia! We hope to be in this part of the world for the next year, but who knows what might happen along the way, our plans are forever changing!
