Paris to Lisbon — Time Slows Down

For me, traveling by bike has taught one simple truth — time slows down. Out here, every minute is felt. Every breath, every turn of the pedals, every quiet moment of loneliness becomes part of the journey. This is my fifth long-distance trip, a 2700 km ride from Paris to Lisbon. Somewhere along the Camino, I found something special — not a destination, but a deeper sense of self. Long days of silence. Empty roads. Moments where I felt small, fragile, present… and alive. This silent film isn’t a documentary or a highlight reel. It’s a memory. A chapter. One step in a much longer journey. I tried to reflect that through the sound — using natural ambience, wind, tires, breath, and subtle music to capture how the road actually feels when you’re alone with your thoughts. No narration.
