Hurt Begins With Me! | A Song About Healing, Compassion, and Love I wrote this song, “Hurt Begins With Me!”, to encourage us to recognize the pain that so many people carry silently. Sometimes hurt comes from loneliness, rejection, cruel words, or simply feeling as though nobody hears or understands us. Behind a smile, there may be a wounded heart that needs someone willing to listen. My prayer is that we will begin to look beyond ourselves and ask Yahweh to teach us how to recognize the hurt in others. We may not always have the answers, and we may not be able to take away someone's pain, but we can listen, show compassion, offer a helping hand, and remind them that they are not alone. Healing can begin when someone finally feels heard, accepted, and loved. Instead of turning away from those who are hurting, let us ask Yahweh to help us become people who bring comfort, understanding, and encouragement to others. I wrote this song as a reminder that healing begins when we are willing to see the pain, listen with compassion, and take the first step toward helping one another.
