Inside En Fuego Tobacco Shop in Historic Downtown McKinney, Texas. In this episode of Humidor Explorer, I tour the walk-in humidor, sit down with Ryan to hear the story behind En Fuego and talk about some of the biggest names in premium cigars, then take a closer look at several Arturo Fuente OpusX finds from the visit. En Fuego’s story began in the fall of 2005 when a group of friends were sitting outside enjoying cigars and wondering where they would continue gathering once the weather turned cold. That conversation eventually became En Fuego Tobacco Shop, which opened its first location in August 2006. During the tour, I explore the large walk-in humidor at the Historic Downtown McKinney location and take a closer look at its premium, boutique and harder-to-find cigar selections. Then I sit down with Ryan to hear how he got into the cigar industry, learn more about the En Fuego community and discuss several major cigar brands, including Padrón, Perdomo, My Father Cigars and Arturo Fuente. Ryan also shares some of the cigars and brands he personally gravitates toward, along with his perspective on different blends and what cigar smokers may want to pay attention to while exploring the humidor. To close out the visit, I take another look at some of the cigars that stood out, including several Arturo Fuente OpusX selections.
