Responding to the Claim That Richard Nixon Was Framed by the Deep State

Now they're claiming Nixon was the victim of a deep state coup. He wasn't. Watergate happened, and comparing Trump to Nixon isn't the defense they think it is. In this video I respond to a clip claiming Richard Nixon was framed and forced out of office, and that the "truth" is finally coming out. I explain why the Watergate cover-up was real, why Nixon resigned rather than face impeachment and removal, and why it makes no sense to defend Trump by comparing him to the president most Americans see as the face of corruption. I also lay out my unpopular opinion: Nixon was a terrible human being but, policy-wise, one of the better presidents of my lifetime. He created the EPA and OSHA, signed Title IX, ended the draft, funded the war on cancer, opened relations with China, and signed the SALT nuclear treaty. You can hold both truths at once without rewriting history.
