After The First Train Passes The Crossing A 2nd Train Surprises Drivers Sitting On The Tracks! Drivers Don't Know What To Do With 2 Trains In A Row. This Is Why You Don't Sit On RR Tracks. Includes Crossing Runner Proof RR Crossing In Lexington, Ky. CSX Train Diverging Onto Indy Sub & Quick Hamilton Depot Update. CSX and Norfolk Southern trains in Hamilton, Ohio and Lexington, Ky. We see 4 CSX trains and 1 Norfolk Southern train. There is also a close look at the rail and its very heavy rail. I returned to my favourite railroad crossing in Hamilton, Ohio to catch the first 3 trains. This is Heaton Street. I will be doing a video soon discussing the future closure of this crossing. An overpass is proposed to be just to the north of the present Heaton Street crossing. Anyway, as you will see, 2 trains passed the crossing just minutes apart. Traffic was backed up from the first train and cars were on the crossing with the second train approaching. The crew could see the automobiles so they approached at walking speed. A few people on the tracks were startled when the bells started ringing. A couple of cars went left of centre to pass cars in front of them in order to get off the tracks. A school bus also waited for a train. We take a close look at the rail for production information and then take a look at the Hamilton Depot progress. Progress is moving at a snails pace. The fourth train is a CSX westbound train on the Indy Sub. I only see about one or two trains a day on that line when I am at Hamilton. They operate on the same frequency so it's easy to tell which line they are on if you are familiar with their transmissions. I also added an October train from Lexington, Kentucky. I put this one in to show what a crossing looks like that is nearly runner proof. I saw some like this in Utah a few years ago. Anyway, that train was a Norfolk Southern southbound loaded grain train. It's on the NS Rat Hole Line which is the same line that goes through Walton, Kentucky.
