Greetings and blessings as we continue with Ordinary Time. “I wrote ‘Come, Now is the Time’ at one of the lowest ebbs of my life. But what happened with this song has become one of life’s biggest encouragements. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the Worship Leaders who chose to use this song in your sets over the last 25 years, and to all the people who loved this song and shared it with others.” (YouTube video) Brian Doerksen passed away in his hometown of Abbotsford, B.C. on July 21, 2026 at the age of 60. May he rest in peace in God’s loving arms. Let’s sing together Brian Doerksen’s “Come, Now is the Time to Worship”.
