Exploring Cheddar Gorge and the Caves in the Mendip Hills in Somerset

Join us as we explore the limestone rocks that form Cheddar Gorge in the Mendip Hills National Landscape (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)). We undertook this 5km walk/nature trail on a very hot day, where temperatures reached 31°C, but we were very pleased to see the results of all the conservation work that is undertaken here, especially as we saw lots of wildlife, including many pollinators, goats, and flowers such as the Cheddar Pink.
