To customize my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, I removed unnecessary parts like fender extensions and the rear grab handle. It improved the appearance but had minimal impact on weight. I upgraded the brake and clutch levers with affordable options from AliExpress. It enhanced comfort and aesthetics. Installed stylish bar-end mirrors with adapters for different handlebars. Blind screws were needed for mounting. Replaced the stock handlebar with a lightweight 28mm black handlebar using universal mounts. Required patience and cleverness for installation. Swapped out the handlebar grips multiple times to find the perfect fit. Experimenting with different grips made a noticeable difference. Replaced the uncomfortable stock seat with a Black Premium Touring Dual Seat. Be cautious when buying online to avoid counterfeit products. To address wind-related issues, I added a Chinese-made windshield designed for the Triumph Speed Twin 1200. Minor modifications were required for mounting, but it made a difference in airflow. The shield costs $35. I installed adjustable rider footrests from TEC Bike Parts. They offer a wide range of adjustments but could have a more comfortable finish. The cost, including shipping and customs duties, exceeded $150. For secure storage, I chose a SW-Motech one-sided canvas pannier from the Legends series. It required a dedicated rack and costs $525. I plan to get a second pannier later. Front fork lug covers add a stylish touch to the bike, and I have the original ones from Royal Enfield. They typically require an extra payment when ordering a new motorcycle. The S&S Race Only exhausts, costing over $700, provide a powerful and loud sound. I use DB killers to reduce the volume when needed. Despite the hype, the DNA filter didn't noticeably improve engine performance for me. The bike runs and sounds the same as with the factory filter. I changed the tank color to a satin gray foil temporarily. The quality of my DIY wrapping is poor, with peeling already occurring. A professional painter will change the color to Nardo Gray in the future.
