Jungle Roar Bengals Clamp Down Texans 20-6, Hope, Hype Building For Good Reason

HOUSTON -- The Bengals defense made another statement Sunday, holding the opponent without a touchdown for just the third time in the Zac Taylor era and posting a 20-6 win over the Texans at Reliant Stadium. Dexter Lawerence II was a disruptive force on the interior and helped stop a key fourth and inches in the first half while the defense had four sacks of C.J. Stroud, including two by Ced Johnson and one each by Shemar Stewart and Jonathan Allen. Ja'Marr Chase had a pair of touchdown receptions as the Bengals moved to 2-0 for the second straight season.
