2009 born Kaya Birsen proudly represented England U18's at the 2026 The Future Stars International Basketball Tournament, a key UK-based showcase for top European junior talent, which took place at Brunel University in London from 27–30 August 2026. Kaya started all four games as the point guard for England U18's, and averaged 13.8 points, 2.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 14.3 efficiency per game. His 3pt shooting average was 41.7%.
