🇮🇸 The Secret Wonders of North-West Iceland | 4K

Northwest Iceland is a region in Iceland known for its rugged, remote, and beautiful landscapes, often called "Miniature Iceland" due to its diverse nature. It is home to Snæfellsjökull National Park with its subglacial volcano, lava caves, and features like the basalt cliffs of Gerðuberg and seal colonies at Ytri-Tunga Beach. Bjarnarfoss waterfall is a beautiful sight nestled in the Icelandic hills of the Snaefellsness Peninsula. It is a two-tiered waterfall that cascades on magnificent basalt columns. This tour also will take you to Búðakirkja, a small wooden church located on the south side of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It is a local parish church that was first established in 1703 but the current church was built in1848.The church is known for its beauty, both the building itself and in contact with the surrounding area. The church is still used to this day, both for traditional church events for the parish, but also for other events like destination weddings, music events, and storytelling to name a few. #iceland #bjarnarfoss #icelandtravel 00:00 - Intro 01:21 - Gerðuberg Cliffs 08:52 - Ytri-Tunga Beach 10:35 - Búðakirkja 12:45 - Barnarfoss _______________________________________________________________________________ Support this channel with a one-off tip💕https://ko-fi.com/uhdwalks/tip _______________________________________________________________________________ What I Use For Creating Content: The links below contain affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I'll receive a small commission from your purchases.
