Hundstalsee & Apollontempel – Ein Kraftort in den Stubaier Alpen

Von der Inzinger Alm ging es heute hinein in die Stubaier Alpen – nicht auf einen Gipfel, sondern zum Hundstalsee auf 2.384 m und dem außergewöhnlichen Apollontempel. Durch eine traumhafte Almlandschaft und zunehmend ursprüngliches Gelände führte der Steig hinauf zum See. Oben angekommen, war der durchaus fordernde Anstieg schnell vergessen. Der tiefblaue Hundstalsee, das Läuten der Schafglocken und der mitten in dieser wilden Bergwelt thronende Apollontempel erzeugten eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Der Tempel wurde über 20 Jahre hinweg ausschließlich aus aufgeschichteten Steinen errichtet – ohne Mörtel, Holz oder Nägel. Und als ich schließlich auf dem Dach des Tempels saß und auf den See blickte, war da dieses besondere Gefühl: Ruhe, Zufriedenheit und ein echtes Kribbeln. Vielleicht braucht es eben nicht immer einen Gipfel. Manchmal reicht der richtige Ort zur richtigen Zeit. The trail led through beautiful alpine meadows before becoming increasingly wild and remote. Once I reached the lake, the challenging ascent was quickly forgotten. The deep blue Hundstalsee, the sound of sheep bells and the unique stone temple standing in the middle of this rugged mountain landscape created a truly special atmosphere. The Apollontemple was built over 20 years, using only carefully stacked stones – without mortar, wood or nails.
