I had the absolute pleasure of having a recital at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford last March. My final piece is the lesser-known piece by a lesser-known Couperin. Not the famous François Couperin the Great but his relative, Gervais-François. This piece is ‘Offertoire (en Sol mineur)’ and it is criminally underrated.
