Grateful Dead - Not Fade Away 1979* Jams Compilation

While I had some other '79 projects I was hoping to finish up first, Not Fade Away kept coming up. Fall-Winter 1979 was an interesting time for NFA: Jerry's new Tiger brought in extra twang, Brent's throwing new ideas at the band to see what sticks, and the band hadn't yet succumbed to the laziness of making it a by-the-numbers singalong. I particularly love the intro jams from this period. The sound quality on Red Rocks and Glens Falls aren't great, but they absolutely need to be heard. *You may be wondering what a 1980 date is doing in here.
