The 17 Smallest Towns in Florida (One Has Just 15 People)

Florida has 411 cities, towns, and villages. This video counts down the 17 smallest, ranked by the 2020 Census count for every municipality that still exists, and tells what the records say about each one: a railroad stop, a sawmill, a church, a guarded island of mansions, a beach with rules about umbrellas, and two cities inside Disney's resort area. It also starts with a city that is not on the list. The City of Weeki Wachee had 16 people in the 2020 Census, and ten weeks later the Legislature abolished it. Not every tiny town is dying, and some of the stories are thin. Where the record is thin or sources disagree, the video says so. Every population number comes from U.S. Census Bureau counts, checked against the University of Florida's official 2025 estimates. Narration is an AI voice. When two towns tied, they are in alphabetical order. The state's 2025 estimates put Bay Lake slightly below Marineland, and the video says so.
