Shared Lives South West Team Day 2026

The staff team came together at Buckfast Abbey yesterday. There were workshop sessions and lots of laughter! We built a compliments tree to showcase the warmth and positivity at the organisation. Deputy CEO Sandra Fisher-Martins led sessions on AI, how we can use it safely and how it can be an efficient tool at work. The afternoon was focused around organisational culture. The staff team were split into small groups and asked to write down words and themes that sum up our culture. Interestingly, many groups came up with similar topic areas 👍. The day finished with a gratitude tombola where team members had to pick a name out of a hat and pick a gift for that person. We also held a fantasy league football competition throughout the year. It was announced that our CEO Dominic Spayne had won. He received a mini cup for his efforts 🏆 A great day was had by all!
