Growing Shiitake Mushrooms on Logs

This was our first attempt at growing shiitake mushrooms on logs. 🍄 We cut our own maple, brought 15 logs home, drilled, inoculated, waxed… and definitely learned a few things along the way. We’re not mushroom experts. We’re learning as we go, making mistakes, having fun, and sharing the whole process. Now we wait… apparently for a very long time.
