I chose to be the villain. And honestly, I'm okay with that. Because the more I research what our kids are actually being exposed to on these devices, the more I'm convinced that saying no is one of the most loving things we can do as parents right now.
In this video, I talk about why I'm not giving my daughter a smartphone, what I've seen on public transport and in my own research that sealed that decision, and what the people who literally built these platforms do with their own kids. Spoiler: they don't hand them a phone and walk away.
