The Ten Mile Canyon Bike Trail from Frisco to Copper Mountain became one of my favorite rides in a long time. I did it in the fall, and the experience was incredible. The colors were at their peak — bright golds, deep reds, and that signature Colorado glow that makes the season feel magical. The temperature was perfect too: cool, crisp, and comfortable, without the heat that sometimes makes summer rides feel heavy.
The trail itself is very easy, smooth, and beginner‑friendly. It has a gentle incline that lets you enjoy the scenery without feeling tired or distracted. It’s the kind of ride where you can relax, look around, and just enjoy the moment. The combination of fall colors and perfect weather made the entire experience feel almost therapeutic.
Even though this section is only 10 miles, it’s part of a much larger system that can stretch from Breckenridge all the way to Vail. That full route is something I’m planning to do in the future, but this shorter segment is a real gem on its own. It’s ideal for a peaceful afternoon ride, especially in the fall when the canyon is glowing with color.
Overall, the Ten Mile Canyon Trail is a beautiful, easy, and rewarding ride. If you’re looking for a trail that combines scenery, comfort, and simplicity, this one is truly special.
