Gosenjaku Hotel 2F Twin Room Tour, Kamikochi 五千尺ホテルルームツアー, 上高地

In Kamikochi, accommodation options are only a handful of hotels in as well as camp sites. In this video, we introduce Gosenjaku Hotel, which started in 1918 as a small hotel for mountain climbers. The hotel is located conveniently beside Kappa bridge, the icon of Kamikochi. We will present a room tour of the 2019 renovated 2F Twin Room that faces the Azusa River as well as showcase the food we had at the hotel. Kamikochi, located 1,500m above sea level, is a beautiful plateau in the Japanese Northern Alps. It is part of Chubu Sangaka National Park and is only open to visitors from April to November. Private cars are banned from entering the area to protect the nature. Buses reach Kamikochi around 7am and the last bus leave around 5.30pm.
