On the Road to Damascus | Original Christian Song | From Scripture to Song

On the Road to Damascus is an original Christian song inspired by the dramatic conversion of Saul in Acts 9. Saul set out for Damascus determined to persecute the followers of Jesus. But on that road, a light from heaven stopped him in his tracks and a voice called his name: “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” The man who travelled toward Damascus as a persecutor would emerge with a new purpose, becoming Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ and one of the most influential voices of the early Church. This song brings that extraordinary journey to life through music, from Saul’s determination and confrontation with Jesus to his transformation and new calling. 📖 Scripture inspiration: Acts 9:1–22 ✍️ Song written and developed by Andrew Morton 🎵 From Scripture to Song Biblical stories brought to life through music.
