In this video, I’m sharing my Spain journey and the important dates that brought me closer to my goal of applying for Spanish nationality. 🇪🇸 From the day I arrived in Spain in September 2022, getting my empadronamiento, receiving my residence permit, and eventually taking and passing my CCSE and DELE A2 exams, I want to share my real experience with you. 📌 My important dates: 🇪🇸 September 10, 2022 — Arrived in Spain 🏠 October 22, 2022 — Empadronamiento 📄 June 2, 2025 — Residence approved 📚 February 26, 2026 — CCSE exam 🎉 March 19, 2026 — CCSE result: APTO 📚 May 23, 2026 — DELE A2 exam 🎉 September 4, 2026 — DELE A2 result: PASSED! I’ll also share an important lesson I learned when booking my DELE exam: if you are planning to take the exam, don't wait too long to look for a cita! Slots can fill up quickly, especially in busy cities.
