Tekken 8 - Season 3 - Ranked Matches - Zafina Reclaims Tekken King

Had some free time to myself on Easter Sunday and figured I would do a short ranked session and get Zafina back to Tekken King. Not a smooth or polished run but it is what it is. A bit of overview: I had played a good amount of quick matches before hand to warm up and felt it was as good a time as any to jump on ranked since it was rare for me to have a Sunday evening free like I did. My initial match against a Hwoarang player was the most annoying match up I had and their custom fit made it hard to take them serious but their play tactics were effective in countering Zafina more than I thought which made it frustrating trying to mount offense with her against them. I hate I allowed them to dictate the pace of the matches to bait me in most times. I had to use drastic methods such as using Rage Art and Azazel parry just to interrupt and survive their offensive onslaughts which didn't feel satisfying but it helped me get the job done :-/ Afterwards I didn't have too much trouble against a Raven, Lee and Lili who I ultimately got my Tekken King promo on. I played ranked briefly about a week ago and got back to Bushin swiftly enough but didn't see a need to share those matches since my performance varied a lot in those. It's good to at least be out of blue ranks now though early on in S3.
