Pragg vs Nakamura, Clutch Chess 2026: Four Blunders in Four Moves

On move 18, 18.d4 attacks the knight that shields Black's rook on f8; Pragg wins the exchange, but Stockfish 19 calls 18.d4 a mistake that gives back his edge. Then a long endgame, and a time scramble: four blunders in four moves, from 38...g6 to 41...Ra1. After 41.Rb2 Stockfish says 0.00, and its choice, 41...Kd6, keeps it level. Nakamura, with 34 seconds, spends 22 on 41...Ra1, and Pragg converts.
