Sound Avenue Mixed 024 - Astrek

This week's edition of Sound Avenue Mixed comes from Astrek , DJ and producer from Melbourne's North-West suburbs. He debuted on our sublabel Future Avenue on the Spring Sampler 2024, followed by more releases on that label, then releases on 3rd Avenue, and last year a remix for Secretly Famous on the main label. Astrek grew up around Victoria's festival scene, which shaped his approach to production and his focus on mood and atmosphere on the dance floor. Alongside his solo work, he produces as one half of Wolftrax, a progressive house duo with his longtime friend Dion Paola.
