On Wednesday the 24th of August 2022, I made a long overdue visit to the area of Datchet, Slough UK, to make a visit to a bridge I was recommended & also to visit Mays Level Crossing.
The Footbridge is located on Green Lane next to 2nd Datchet Scout Group, the bridge is an excellent place to spot trains heading to & from Windsor & Eton Riverside Station and planes arriving & departing Heathrow Airport.
Datchet Station Level Crossing is located adjacent to Datchet Station on Datchet High Street (B470)
Also, I visited Mays Level Crossing for my first ever time, but I made a mistake because after I had just seen a pair of 458s arrive & depart Datchet Station, I decided to run from Datchet Station onto the Windsor Road located next to the river Thames, then down onto Queens Road, which took me a minute to run.
But instead, I should walk from Datchet Station onto Slough Road and then to Mays Level Crossing which would have been quicker & I wouldn't have been out of breath.
In this video, we see only SWR 458s working services from London Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside and vice verse.
