870 BTO flats in new Berlayar estate within Greater Southern Waterfront to go on sale in Oct

870 Build-to-Order flats within a new estate in the Greater Southern Waterfront will go on sale in October. There will be two-room Flexi, three-room and four-room flats, as well as an additional 200 rental units. The former Keppel Club is set to become Berlayar estate, with its name retaining its maritime heritage. Berlayar translates to "sailing" in Malay. These are the first of the around 7,000 new public housing units expected in Berlayar estate. Another 3,000 private housing units will be built there as well.
