A prayer for the things you can see. A prayer for the things you cannot yet understand. A prayer for the doors that may open. A prayer for the wounds that still need healing. And a prayer for the strength to keep walking with Jesus. 🕊️ Holy Spirit, go before me this October. Guide what I cannot predict. Protect what matters to me. Heal what I carried into this month. What should I leave behind? Which decision should I make? Which door should I stop trying to force? Then the worship turns toward healing and restoration. “Lord, heal what September left behind.” Not every new month automatically brings a new heart. Sometimes we carry yesterday into tomorrow. So we ask God to heal the disappointment, exhaustion, fear, and unanswered questions we brought with us. Then comes the prayer for open doors. Not every door. The right doors. The doors that lead toward God’s purpose, peace, growth, and wisdom. And finally, the worship ends in surrender. “I place this whole month in Your hands.” Because faith is not knowing everything that October will bring. Faith is knowing who will walk through October with you. 🙏 PRAYER FOR OCTOBER Holy Spirit, Walk with me through every day of this month. When I am unsure, guide me. When I am tired, strengthen me. When I am afraid, remind me that I do not walk alone. Protect my family. Give peace to my home. Bring wisdom into my decisions. Restore hope where disappointment has stayed too long. Open the doors that belong in my future. Give me patience when the answer is “wait.” Give me courage when the answer is “move.” And give me peace when the answer is “let it go.” Jesus, go before me. Let October become a month where I grow closer to You, not only a month where I receive what I asked for. Teach me to recognize Your presence in ordinary days. Let gratitude become stronger than worry. Let faith become louder than fear. And let this entire month remain in Your hands.
