Roland JD-08 synthesizer tutorial, review and sound demos - just how werid is this thing?

Roland JD-08 synthesizer tutorial, review and sound demos - I wanted to do a review and sound demos with a bit of tutorial covering the stuff I liked so far on this synth. Overall it's a really powerful, if deeply weird, synth with a lot of really great hands-on editability and its own completely unique sound. It treads a specific niche, but the sheer scope for crafting unique, complex and evolving sounds with this thing is incredible! The Roland JD-08 is a clone/emulator of the legendary JD-800 (used notably on Faithless's 'Insomnia', and by greats like the Prodigy, Prince, Genesis, Jean Micheal-Jarre, Depeche Mode etc. etc. ), which itself was an advancement on the equally legendary D-50.
