San Francisco Day 3: Union Square Walking Tour, Chinatown, Pier 39, Lombard Street, & Cable Cars

Day 3 of our California vacation. After breakfast, cable car from Fisherman's Wharf to Union Square for the Free SF Walking Tour covering Maiden Lane, Grant Avenue, Dragon Gate, Golden Gate Chinese Cookie Factory, Ross Lane, Portsmouth Square, Transamerica Pyramid, Embarcadero, Little Italy. Then another cable car to Lombard Street, which is one of the steepest streets in the world. Followed by a short walk to Ghirardelli Square and the famous Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience. We then took a tram to Pier 39 to see the Sea Lions and shops. Ended the day with dinner at the best pizza restaurant in San Francisco - Golden Boy Pizza. San Francisco 2026-08-23
