Closing argument: Tyler Robinson's defense team makes argument in Charlie Kirk murder case

Defense attorneys made their closing argument Sept. 1, 2026, in the preliminary hearing for Tyler Robinson, whom prosecutors say fatally shot Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University last year. Robinson, 23, is facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder, in connection with Kirk’s Sept. 10, 2025, death. Prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty if Robinson is convicted.
