We were just minding our own business—until a certain researcher decided “introductions” should start with knockout gas. Welcome back to Interlink Interludes, where the side quests are anything but chill. We start off in Colony 9, where tensions are rising over food shortages and hidden secrets. Drastic measures are proposed, grudges are aired, and we do our best to keep the peace before things boil over. Next, we return to Colony Gamma, where Noah is asked to step into the role of teacher. Their Off-Seer is struggling to continue her duties after losing her partner, and Noah helps guide her through her grief in a surprisingly heartfelt quest. And then… Colony Iota. Salazar—one of their researchers—decides to “study” Ouroboros by, well, removing our ability to distribute supplies, gassing us unconscious, and dumping us in the desert. All in the name of science, of course. We’re forced to cooperate with her experiment and fight a Levnis so she can collect data. Naturally, Alexandria is not pleased when she finds out.
