Two years ago, I stood at the foothills of one of India's toughest and most breathtaking treks — only to be turned back by nature's fury. No warnings, no second chances. Just the mountain saying "not yet." I came back home with an unfinished story and a promise to return. *Two years later — the mountains finally said yes.* --- *🌄 About Bali Pass* Bali Pass (4,850m) is one of the most challenging and visually stunning high-altitude treks in India, nestled in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Connecting the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary to the sacred Yamunotri valley, this trek is a raw, unfiltered Himalayan experience — glaciers, alpine meadows, massive moraines, and skies you won't find anywhere else. --- *⚡ This Trek — What Made It Special* Typically done over 7-8 days, we had to push ourselves to complete it in just *5 days* — racing against incoming rain and snowfall. But nature, this time, was on our side. Energy levels stayed high throughout, the weather held, and the mountains rewarded every step. On the *final day**, we woke up at the advance base camp and undertook one of the most epic single-day pushes of the trek — trekking all the way down to **Janaki Chatti**, stopping at the sacred **Yamunotri temple* and soaking our tired legs in the legendary **hot springs**.
