Federal Signal STH-10 - Noon Blast - Kennard, Nebraska

I haven’t been recording sirens for very long, but out of anything I’ve seen, this STH-10 has the LONGEST wind-down I’ve ever heard. I sat in my truck for about 10 minutes after the test and at around 12:08, the rotor was still slowly spinning. My guess is that this siren had been refurbished recently, especially with how healthy and clean it looks! Kennard does noon blasts Monday through Saturday. Location: Behind the Kennard Fire Hall in Kennard, Nebraska (208 Main St.) Test Times (Washington County, NE): First Wednesday of every (nonfreezing) month between 10 and 11 AM.
