2/3/21 - Railfanning Carbondale, IL with crazy Amtrak movement

During my Rec 330 class on my way to the Student Rec Center, I noticed Amtrak 393 parked on the siding by the station thinking if 391 is running again or that there was something wrong with the Charger. I don't really know what was the cause of 390 halting at the station was. Later that night, I decided to head to the station to see what was up with the set. I didn't expect to see A432 with a KCS leader and a GTW GP38-2 in the consist. I then came back after a some hard studying to capture some photos of 393 with the canceled 390 side by side. I timed it a bit too late as I arrived the same time as 393. I managed to get the most of the Amtrak equipment work progress going on. It was definitely a cool sight cause this is a rare sight in Carbondale!
