i secretly learned chopins most romantic work and played it for my fiancee a week before our wedding

2 years ago I was overcome with how beautiful this piece is, and was determined to learn it for my fiancee. I kept the whole process secret from her, but made sure to sometimes play it in the car so she would get familiar with it cause I think that helps people love performances! I think this piece somehow perfectly captures how it feels to love, and be loved by someone so special. It is hard to stay motivated to practice a piece like this when the goal for it is so small and you can't talk about it with the person it's for, but here we are 13 days from our wedding on August 15th and it was finally ready for her to hear it. This piece is a contender for the hardest piece Chopin wrote, and this was also the most nervous I've ever been performing. Luckily, the slips and slides I made were not ones she noticed (even if there's some glaring once that make me cringe), and by the end we were both crying! This has been so long in the making, and I only had one opportunity to get it right. I am so happy I was able to capture and experience such a powerful moment of love with my Meghan, and I'm so excited for our wedding. A part of me feels that this was just as important as my vows will be; a piece that in my mind encompasses the full range of love I feel for this wonderful woman. Please enjoy.
