Clermont Waterfront Parkrun - Parkrun Tourism UK to USA

In August 2023 I travelled to America for the first time ever. As soon as we landed in Florida I knew I needed to find out where the nearest Parkrun was ready for Saturday morning. Clermont Waterfront Parkrun was the closest and during summer it started at 7:30am to try and avoid the super hot temperatures as the day progressed. A mega early start was needed but eager to get there on time we set off on the 45 minute drive as the sun rose. Greeted by beautiful scenery and a friendly atmosphere I had an absolute blast and the early wake up call and car journey were definitely worth it. What a place to run!
