MIAMI BOYS GO FROM SEA LEVEL TO 15,000FT+

First time going up the Cotopaxi Volcano. We actually went up to the refuge shelter 15,000+ feet not the top of the Volcano which is 19,000+ feet. Our guide told us that only experienced hikers do it. Our guide actually told us he's never done it because of the rigorous training and preparation you need to go through in order to make it to the top. This hike was more than enough for us and there's something about challenging yourself in nature that just makes you feel alive. We went through a rough patch about 15 minutes from the refuge shelter that bombarded us with wind and rain that felt as if glass shards were being launched at us. I had a great time doing this hike with my boy, Miguel (the guide), and Luis who took us there and was with us the entire way in spirit lol.
