2026 Ringing Holiday - a few clips

St Columb Major's 2026 ringing holiday took the team to 14 towers in Glos, Som and Worcs over 3 days, including ringing from the famous cage at Pershore and the fine twelve at Evesham. We didn't take a lot of footage, but here's some clips from a few of the towers... 0:00 WEST BUCKLAND, Som. Call changes on this decent 14 cwt six. 0:48 CROMHALL, Glos. Changes and fall. A very pleasant G&J six, although the treble is very prominent outside. 3:39 ELMLEY CASTLE, Worcs. A very brief clip of a rise on this lovely six, newly restored/remodelled by Taylor's. Unfortunatley this snippet os the only footage we recorded of these superb bells. 3:55 EVESHAM, Worcs. Rise and changes on the middle 8 of this magnificent 12. We also rang the back 10 and all 12, but again neglected to film it! 5:35 PERSHORE, Worcs. The climb into the cage, then a clip of the rise and some call changes. The bells are challenging to strike well, but quite an experience! 7:35 AXBRIDGE, Som. Call changes on this particularly fine Taylor six, our last tower of the tour. 9:30 Various photos from the trip. We also rang at Congresbury, Yatton, Hinton on the Green, Great Hampton, Bredon, Ashchurch, Quedgeley and Frampton on Severn. Some very enjoyable bells and interesting and picturesque places.
