On October 19, a hacker posted 15 seconds of PS5 menus running firmware 14.10, the update GTA 6 reportedly needs, and 3 million people watched. The kernel is open. But GTA 6 would sit one floor deeper, behind the hypervisor, and the last known way past it got copied with AI and handed to Sony. This is the story under the GTA 6 headline: TheFloW's last hypervisor bug and why he wanted it saved until after GTA 6, the AI-assisted rediscovery that ended that plan, the $50,000 bug bounty, why AI means nobody can keep a console exploit secret anymore, and whether GTA 6 could run on PC before Rockstar sells it there. Tell me in the comments. This video doesn't link to any exploit, payload or download, and doesn't show how to jailbreak a console. The 14.10 exploit in it is private and unreleased. Jailbreaking can get your PlayStation account and console banned. ABOUT WHAT'S ON SCREEN • The 14.10 menus are Gezine's own capture (@gezine_dev on X, Oct 19, 2026). Posts on X are rebuilt as cards with their real text, dates and view counts; links in them are left out. • Hotel Prospero is an illustration (Prospero is the PS5's codename): its floors stand for the system's layers (games, the kernel, the hypervisor), and the keys, the vault and its guard are metaphors. The rest-mode bug is simplified from the public write-up of the S3-resume hypervisor bug. • "GTA 6 requires 14.10" is a datamine (PlayStation Game Size, Oct 2, 2026). Rockstar and Sony haven't confirmed it. • The $50,000 is from HackerOne's public PlayStation feed (Oct 14, 2026). Sony didn't say which bug it paid for. Gezine's $17,500 is the four bounties in his post of Aug 13, 2026. • GTA 6 on PC in early 2027 is GamesBeat's report (Oct 13, 2026, four industry sources), not an announcement. • The music is an original score made for this video.
