CAN GREEN LANTERN (2011) BE SAVED?! | STEVE VS. MEGAN: THE RE-WRITE CHALLENGE!

IN BRIGHTEST DAY, IN BLACKEST NIGHT… CAN WE FIX THIS MOVIE AND MAKE IT RIGHT?! 😂 Ryan Reynolds. A CGI Green Lantern suit. A giant space cloud named Parallax. And one of DC's most infamous superhero movies. But here's the question... Was Green Lantern (2011) really a hopeless disaster, or was there a great superhero movie buried somewhere underneath all that CGI? In this special episode of Stop Ruining My Childhood, Steve and Megan revisit the 2011 Green Lantern movie and attempt something that might be even harder than defeating Parallax... 🔥 THEY'RE GOING TO FIX IT! 🔥 That's right! We're putting down the grading cards, picking up our imaginary Hollywood screenwriting contracts, and taking turns pitching our own versions of Green Lantern! 🎬 WHAT WE'RE DISCUSSING: 💚 What Went Wrong? Was it the script, the villains, the pacing, the CGI, or something else entirely? 💍 Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan: Was he actually the problem, or did the movie fail its leading man? 👽 The Green Lantern Corps: Did the movie waste the potential of Oa, Sinestro, Kilowog, and the larger DC cosmic universe? 😱 Parallax and Hector Hammond: Could different villains—or better-written versions of the existing ones—have saved the story? ✍️ STEVE'S RE-WRITE! Steve pitches his version of Green Lantern (2011). What would he change, cut, or completely rebuild to give Hal Jordan the movie he deserves? ✍️ MEGAN'S RE-WRITE!
