Strasburg Rail Road: A Day With N&W 475 and Thomas - November 17, 2018

Today, we venture to the Strasburg Rail Road to see some steam during a frigid, wet day which guarantees great plumage of steam. Surprisingly, N&W 475 was operating for what little service days remain on her boiler until her 1,472 day inspection. There was still snow on the ground from a previous winter storm as well. Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal 15, or better known now as Thomas, was also out. In other news, a newly restored passenger car was rolled out of the shops, the Linn W. Moedinger, and will enter service on November 23. Enjoy a cold day on the Road to Paradise as N&W 475 and Thomas fight the grade at Esbenshade and a few other locations!
