Between 1965 and 1966, Dalida promoted her album "Il Silenzio" through promotional singles. Some of these songs were translated for the Italian market, even including exclusive tracks like "Non ti pentire mai" and "Devo imparare".
In 1987, as a posthumous release, "Rendez-vous chaque soir" was released, a French version of the song "Pensamoci ogni sera," originally released in Italy in 1966 as part of the aforementioned promotion.
I deduce that, given the poor quality of "Pensamoci ogni sera," which to this day only exists in a mono version, Dalida's team at the time decided to remake the music using the vocal track from its French counterpart. In my opinion, this new orchestration feels very "modern," that is, similar to 80s pop.
Therefore, I decided to mix the tracks to emulate how it might have sounded.
