Learn angles between lines from scratch in this complete animated lesson by ScholarNestHub. You get clear notes on every angle rule, then 15 solved questions in 4 levels, from easy angles on a straight line to multi-step parallel line problems with algebra. Every answer comes with its reason, so you learn exactly what to write in your exam.
📘 PART A: NOTES
Types of angles: acute, right, obtuse, straight, reflex and full turn
Angles on a straight line add up to 180°
Angles at a point add up to 360°
Vertically opposite angles are equal
Perpendicular lines and complementary angles (a + b = 90°)
Parallel lines and a transversal
Corresponding angles are equal (look for the letter F)
Alternate angles are equal (look for the letter Z)
Co-interior angles add up to 180° (look for the letter C or U)
A 4-step method for solving any angle problem: name the rule, write an equation, solve for the unknown, then give a reason and check
📝 PART B: 15 SOLVED QUESTIONS
Level 1: Angles on lines and at a point (Questions 1 to 4)
Level 2: Parallel lines, using corresponding, alternate and co-interior angles (Questions 5 to 8)
Level 3: Angles and algebra, forming and solving equations such as (3x + 20)° + (2x + 10)° = 180° (Questions 9 to 12)
Level 4: Multi-step problems, including drawing an extra parallel line and angle bisectors (Questions 13 to 15)
