The UFL has officially revealed four new markets for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The Birmingham Stallions organization will relocate to Pawtucket, Rhode Island, while the Houston Gamblers will move to Colorado Springs in 2027. Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City will then join the United Football League as expansion markets in 2028.
In this video, we break down everything announced about the UFL’s expansion and relocation plans, including why these four cities were selected and where each team will play. The new venues include Centreville Bank Stadium in Rhode Island, Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, the future MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium in Oklahoma City, and America First Field near Salt Lake City.
We also examine potential team names such as the New England Breakers, Providence Steamrollers, Oklahoma Outlaws, and Salt Lake Stallions. Rhode Island will reveal its official name, logo, and colors on October 18, followed by Colorado Springs on October 25.
Finally, we cover what these moves could mean for existing rosters, the upcoming UFL draft, quarterback recruitment, and possible coaching changes ahead of the 2027 season.
