Low Income Life in 40°C With No AC 🇻🇳 | Real Life in Vietnam What is it like to get through an almost 40°C summer day with no working air conditioner while living on a low income in Vietnam? In this episode, I’m sharing another day of Real Life in Vietnam with my 3-year-old daughter. My air conditioner stopped working during one of the hottest days of summer, but I still had work to finish, food to buy, and everyday things to take care of. I’ll take you with me to a traditional local market, show you the prices of some everyday food, buy sugarcane juice, stop at a watermelon field, cook simple meals at home, and share a few small ways I try to save money. You’ll also see what summer feels like here in central Vietnam and some of the little routines that are part of our daily life.
