Why the Broncos MUST Unleash Pat Bryant! | Steve Smith's Take

Is Pat Bryant the next Marques Colston? Steve Smith Sr. goes to the tape on the Broncos' rising star wide receiver! 🐴 The Denver Broncos keep living on the edge with Bo Nix's fourth-quarter magic, but the real story brewing in Sean Payton's offense is the emergence of Pat Bryant. Steve Smith Sr. and James Palmer evaluate Denver's slow starts, their evolving wide receiver room, and why a specific rookie pass-catcher is demanding more targets. Steve breaks down Pat Bryant's physical, savvy game, drawing a direct parallel to Saints legend Marques Colston—but with one major upgrade: elite run-after-catch ability. Agent 89 explains why Bryant's size and hands (highlighted by a massive two-point conversion over All-Pro Trent McDuffie) make him the perfect big-slot weapon alongside Jaylen Waddle's speed and Courtland Sutton's veteran presence. Plus, the guys dissect the narrative surrounding 31-year-old offensive coordinator Davis Webb, detailing why Sean Payton's system historically starts slow in September, and how Webb is winning over the entire Denver locker room with extreme, zero-ego accountability during Monday morning film sessions.
